In the SmartFlow 5.60 application the SRC and DST ports can be set both with "Groups Wizard" and on the Traffic tab under the SmartFlows Tab. Why are there two places to create these functions and which of these settings are actually used?

Answer

The “Group Wizard” is used to generate the flows and groups and the SmartFlow tab was created to
manually set up flows and groups, or view or modify those groups created with the “Group Wizard.”
You can also create similar but new groups based on the one created by the Group Wizard if it uses
some of the same ports and same protocol and traffic patterns.

So you have to create the groups using the “Group Wizard and the SmartFlow tab are used to modify these
groups. If the Flows are modified using the SmartFlows Tab, the values that are changed become the values
that are used in the SmartFlow configuration.
