Spirent TestCenter: Why "Bypass IP Subnet checking" option does not work with VLAN?

Answer

When we create bound streamblocks with VLAN headers, “Bypass IP Subnet checking” option does not work properly.

There is no problem for IP/Ethernet encapsulation endpoints.

After engineering team confirmed, there is a limitation.

So 'Bypass IP Subnet Checking' option is only applicable to Eth/IP protocol stack. It does not apply to packets with VLAN header.
