Landslide: MME Nodal - In what state is the User Equipment (UE), if experiencing errors when transitioning from idle to active or vice-versa?

Answer

The UE whether idle or active will remain in that state so long as:
- it does not receive any response from the MME (Mobility Management Entity)
- the UE exceeds its retry counts
