Environment/Versions iTest v4.2.2 MySQL 5.1 Answer iTest throws this error, when an jdbc exception "Expected to read 4 bytes, read 0 bytes before connection was unexpectedly lost" is received from the database server.  This exception is caused, if the database server has a short wait_timeout when compared to the application connection properties. We could resolve this issue by removing or commenting the wait_timeout option or by increasing the wait_timeout value in the my.cnf file located in the database server.
