Abacus: What is the maximum call length Abacus can make?
Answer
The call length of a call is controlled by the CL (Call Length) Timing. The maximum value users can enter is 9999 seconds.
Note:
This is the maximum call length users can specify. The actual call length will be slightly longer, depending on the kind of Path Confirmation used. Abacus will wait for the end of the path confirmation before releasing a call. Note also that the overall call timing is determined by the larger of the two values: CC (Call to Call) Timing, and Sum of CL (Call Length) and IC (InterCall Timings).
So the overall call timing is equal to max (CC, (IC+CL).
