iTest: "Could not open the editor: The editor class could not be instantiated" Error

Answer

When we try to create a new job in iTest getting the below errors.

  • Could not open the editor: "The editor class could not be instantiated. This usually indicates a missing no-arg constructor or that the editor's class name was mistyped in plugin.xml."
  • The selected wizard could not be started. "Reason: Plug-in com.fnfr.itest.jobs.ui was unable to load class com.fnfr.itest.jobs.ui.internal.wizards.NewJobWizard."

This issue is due to corrupted iTest installer and it can resolved by installing iTest with new downloaded installer.
