Wireless TDII: throw exception "Failed to load the Test Packs from the Registry", how to resolve?

Software: TestDrive II, Spirent SC, Spirent Data

 

Answer

Sometimes when we open TestDrive II, software throws exception saying "Failed to load the Test Packs from the Registry!"

To resolve it, we should:

  1. Uninstall TestDrive II, Spirent Data, Spirent SC
  2. Delete below key in Registry:
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Spirent Communications\TestDrive II\Test Packs

  1. Re-install TestDrive II, Spirent Data, Spirent SC
