GSS6700: How do I get an output trigger when the scenario starts?

Answer

 There are 2 steps to take, software and hardware:

  • Software:  In the software go to "Options" >> "Hardware Configuration" and highlight the simulator then click on output details. For a 1PPS out that starts with the scenario select GATED:

                                                

  • Hardware: Use this supplied cable and connect it to the 25 Way D type connector labeled "AUX OUTPUTS" on the rear of the simulator.

                                                  

  • When the scenario is started a Trigger out will be seen on the 1PPS OUT output
