Lumos T&D: Why can't I add a new user?

Lumos MetroUI 10.000 and higher.
(STCLive IPTE UI works.)
Answer
To be able to add new user or modify existing users with the new MetroUI, the Inventory Customer and Region fields must have an entry built.  If they do not, an error of "Failed to add user. Database error" will occur.

In T&D Admin, choose Inventory, Manage Inventory Fields.
Using the Field pull down select Customer Name and then Search.  If only "none" returns, such as:


Choose New and add a new entry.  Entry can be anything.  Example:

You will now be able to add new users or modify existing users.
