Spirent TestCenter: Why is there Uncorrected FEC error count in FEC Counters?

Answer
FEC errors could be occurring in a link but should be corrected with in the specification range.
During Break link / Restore link it is possible there may be some uncorrected FEC errors to show up but once link is up it should no longer increment.
Clearing the counters at this point should show zero uncorrected FEC errors.
