Wireless 8100 Radio Access: Test Manager Start Session button becomes grey, so cannot run tests. How to resolve?

Environment/Versions
HW: 8100 Radio Access setup
SW: Test Manager
Answer
Occasionally we see an exception that Test Manager cannot run test because Start Session button becomes grey.
If try to close Test Manager application, we see an error saying "A test session is in progress...".
Even re-start Test Manager, may still cannot run test.


There is one workaround apart from re-installing the VM:
  • Open regedit, go to edit tab.
  • Find stopTM key.
  • Double click on stop and set the value to false.
  • Use Windows Task Manager to kill Test Manager application and re-start Test Manager.
