First and Only System for O-RAN O-RU Application Layer Testing with Any Commercial Devices

The Spirent O-RAN O-RU Test Solution is the industry’s first and only “wraparound” solution that enables you to perform application layer testing of the O-RU in an O-RAN architecture. All of the solution’s components – including the O-DU emulator – are real-time state machine emulators that implement from the physical layer to the application layers in 3GPP. Using the O-RU Test Solution, you can benchmark O-RU performance under different conditions, configurations, and live scenarios.

  • Support for O-RAN Test and Integration Focus Group (TIFG) End-to-End Test Specification Performance Tests 5.2-5.6 for 5G with multiple UE.
  • Support for O-RAN Test and Integration Focus Group (TIFG) End-to-End Test Specification Functional Tests 4.3 with latency measurement.
  • New Advanced O-RU Sensitivity Testing to benchmark cell capacity (Mbps) vs RSRP from UE.
  • Ability to test with a UE emulator or commercial 5G SA devices with any commercial applications running on top.

General Release > ORAN > O-RU Test Solution
