Spirent is pleased to announce the release of CyberFlood v23.5 and Avalanche v5.42. Both solutions are feature rich and bring new capabilities that expand the value and use cases for our powerful security and performance testing solutions. As content and maintenance releases, these versions include new features, in addition to numerous critical issue resolutions.

Updated NetSecOPEN and
RFC9411

Leading the way in standards-based testing, CyberFlood now includes the latest NetSecOPEN mixed traffic and security tests, in addition to premade tests for IETF RFC9411 performance test methodologies
TestCloud Scenario Updates
CyberFlood now supports more TestCloud scenarios in a Security Mix for use in Throughput with Mixed Traffic and Advanced Mixed Traffic tests
There is no specific limit to the number of scenarios, see CyberFlood Tech Pubs for detailed information
For more comprehensive test confirmation and to align with device under test behavior, users have the option of FIN connection close for TestCloud scenarios in a test.
CyberFlood Virtual
Now supports 36 vCore instances for ESXi/KVM and AWS environments, see Release Notes for detailed specifications
And More
Users can upload their own native MOV and MP4 files for use in functional and performance tests.

Updated TLS options
Spirent continues to be a leader in comprehensive TLS functional and scale testing. Avalanche now supports Online Certificate Status Protocol (OCSP) stapling, required for certain TLS negotiations.
