Announcing Spirent Landslide 23.3 Release

Landslide Release:


Landslide 23.3 continues to build on RIC testing capabilities, specifically on the critical E2 interface. It also introduces an E2 Message Editor, enabling customization by users. Also on the ORAN front, CU Testing is enhanced with support for new handover variants and sequencer/command mode.

On the 5GC side of things, 23.3 adds support for Session Loading with Fireball, Data Tuning, and QUIC support in Max Mode. Several enhancements have been made on: SBI Nodes, including all 4xx/5xx error codes for comprehensive negative testing, NRPPa support in LMF Node, and the ability to test CBCF from AMF. Enhancements have been made on the N16 interface between vSMF and hSMF to continue building on 5G roaming capabilities.

The 23.2 release aims to support: MNOs, NEMs Hyperscalars, System Integrators.

CU Nodal Sequencer & Command Mode

  • Capabilities to test various roaming scenarios
  • Customers can test to ensure that roaming works seamlessly with their partner networks
CBCF Testing
  • Service Based Nodal enhanced to enable testing of CBCF from emulated AMFs
  • Supports testing of emergency alert messages
Software Availability The latest Landslide software can be downloaded from the Spirent Customer Service Center via the Download tab by selecting: General Release > Landslide
