CyberFlood and Avalanche Releases Now Available!

Spirent is pleased to announce the release of CyberFlood v24.4 and Avalanche v5.48. Both solutions are feature new capabilities that expand the value and use cases for our powerful security and performance testing solutions. As content and maintenance releases, these versions include new features, in addition to numerous critical issue resolutions.

Release CyberFlood v24.4
Key new features

  • Advacned Mixed Traffic:

    • POP3 server support in client/server tests is now available for advanced email testing emulation

      • This can be done from the Custom Protocols profile or from the AMT SmartBuilder

  • ZTNA Testing:

    • Option to simulate IdP: Integrated SAML IdP simulation enables users to push the performance of PEP by overcoming the rate limits of external IdPs broadening ZTNA use cases

  • CyberFlood Virtual:

    • Allow all platforms to run ZTNA tests (removing queue selection validation) for expanded ZTNA testing options

  • CybverFlood Containers (Cloud Native):
    • Allow users to upload multiple file formats (Custom certificates, video, formsdb, CSV) for more customized testing scenarios
    • Support Server-Side and Client-Side Agents
      • Users can now control which cluster node to deploy their tests on, choosing between Client-side or Server-side agents for improved test configuration and control

Avalanche v5.48
Key new features
  • SSL VPN – SAML IdP authentication support:
    • With this enhancement, SSL VPN clients authenticate using the SASE -> IDP provider
  • Post Quantum Cryptography (PQC) enables advanced cryptographic testing:
    • Run a test where the DUT decrypts and/or re-encrypts the data before sending the data to the Avalanche server
    • Export or provide the PQC digital certificates to end-users so users can import them to their DUT
    • Both PQC KEM and "legacy" Supported Groups can be selected in the same profile
    • Upload custom PQC digital certificates (server side)
    • GUI /ABL is supported for PQC engine
