REACT: How do I deallocate a hung Comm Link, Network Element, Test Set and Test Link in REACT?

Follow these breif steps to remove a hung Comm  Link, Network Element, Test Set and/or Test Link in REACT, log in to REACT Admin.

Option #1:

  • Choose Utilities - Display Circuits Under Test and Display Circuits Under Long Term Test.   Search for the TID in the list and choose remove circuit.

Option #2:

  • If the TID does not appear in either Display:
    Choose Utilities - Display Test Resources.  From the Choose to List drop down menu, select the list wanted.  Enter information related to the resource and choose List.  Highlight the row for the resource.  If this is a Comm Link or Test Link, choose List Sessions.  In the List Sessions window, highlight the hung session and deallocate.  If this is a Network Element or Test Set or the entire Comm Link or Test Link is hung, choose Change Status.  This will put the Resource selection Out Of Service.  Choose Change Status again and this will put the Resource Selection In Service
     
  • If the above does not work or responds with an error:
    Choose Edit - Test Resources - Change Resource Status.  From the Choose to List drop down menu, select the list wanted.  Enter information related to the resource.  Note wildcards are not valid and all fields must be populated.  Set the "Change to Status" to Out of Service.  Click the "Force Change Status and Deallocate the Item" radial button.   Click on the Change button.
    Once complete the resource will be forced out of service you must now change the "Change to Status" choice to In Service.  Click on the Change button.  The resource item will be put back In Service.
