Spirent TestCenter: How to use “user defined” option in Basic Traffic Results under Port Traffic and Counters?

Answer

Able to filter packets and based on a specific byte offset and get the counts and Rate.

Supported Modules – MX, CV, CM

Filter mode – Byte offset and Range Mode (Frame Content Mode not supported)

Steps: 
1. Click on a port Capture Icon where you want to add a filter
2. Under General Tab, set the Filter Mode to “Byte Offset And Range mode”
3. Click on “Pattern Matching” Tap
4. Add Bytes Pattern that you want to filter
5. The Results will be shown under “User defined” result Tap
