How do I perform the NTP configuration on Landslide TAS Manager and Test Servers?

Answer

a.       It is highly recommended that the NTP server IP Address is configured on the TAS Manager using the ipcfg command through telnet.
b.      However on the Test Servers, it is recommended to configure the NTP Server IP address as the TAS Manager IP Address.
c.       Here is an example of the ipcfg command for a TAS Manager:
NOTE - Preferred management port is eth0
Designate management port (eth0-eth4) [eth0]:
<eth0> IP Address []: A.B.C.D
<eth0> Network Mask []:
<eth0> Auto Negotiate? (yes/no) [yes]:
<eth0> IP Gateway []:
<eth0> Host Name []:
Enable DNS? (yes/no) [no]:
NTP Server IP []:E.F.G.H
System must be rebooted for these changes to take effect... Reboot now? (yes/no) [yes]:
d.      Here is an example of the ipcfg command for a Test Server
Designate management port (eth0-eth9) [eth0]:
<eth0> IP Address []: W.X.Y.Z
<eth0> Network Mask []:
<eth0> Auto Negotiate? (yes/no) [yes]:
<eth0> IP Gateway []:
<eth0> Host Name []:
TAS IP Address []:
NTP Server IP []: A.B.C.D
System must be rebooted for these changes to take effect... Reboot now? (yes/no) [yes]:
e.      NTP server IP Address on the Test Servers is A.B.C.D as the TAS Manager IP Address. This will ensure that you have only one location to change the NTP server IP address in case it changes.
