What happens to the simulated GLONASS time mark if the user disables Nav Data in the PosApp (SimGEN) software?

Answer

With the GLONASS navigation data disabled the time mark is NOT simulated for those chosen satellites.

For users with the SimGEN mode of PosApp software you can disable GLONASS navigation data as follows:-

  1. Go to the scenario tree and select [GLONASS constellation-->GLONASS signal sources file-->Signal control-->General].
  2. In the 'Signal definition' area of that page uncheck "Nav. data" on the L1 and/or L2 signal for each SVID which needs to have the navigation message turned off.
  3. Click 'OK' and give your modified GLONASS constellation file a new name.

For users with the SimREPLAYplus or SimREPLAY mode of PosApp software you will need to request a 'special' scenario from our on-line scenario request service hosted on the CSC support website (see FAQ11226 for more information about scenario requests)
