How do I use RPI interface of VR5 remotely load/save configuration file(*.hde)?

Answer

VR5 supports and only supports remote control/automation through RPI interface. This requires a telnet connection to VR5 instrument with Port ID 3000. Unlike the VR5 GUI running on the controller PC that always load/save configuration file(s) from the controller PC, load/save configuration file through RPI always load/save the file from/to embedded PC of the instrument. Keep in mind if only file name is used inside RPI command, the default directory "D:\FTPRoot\Spirent\VR5\Public\" is used by RPI to search for the file or save the file to.
