Spirent TestCenter- How to turn on/off the detection of flooding in real time results(collect stray frames)?
Answer
We have to check the “collect stray frames”(settings->under L2L3 ResultOptions) checkbox(refer to screenshot below) for turning on the detection of flooding.
We can use the Collect Stray Frames option with multicast. If we define expected ports in the Traffic Wizard, and we select Collect Stray Frames on this tab, then unexpected (stray) frames will be displayed in the Detailed Stream Results view.
