RTRV-VRSN-EQPT:::CTAG command (the serial number should appear in the yellow area but is missing).
Steps to resolve:
1) Check the LED on the unit. Make note of any blue or red LEDs.
2) Power down the chassis using the power switch on the rear of the unit.
3) Reseat all modules.
4) Restore Power to the unit using the power switch on the rear of the unit.
5) If problem has not cleared contact Spirent Support for additional assistance.
This is a problem with older versions of MCH chassis software. Upgrade the chassis software to the latest revision to prevent issue from happening in the future.
