Avalanche: Why do we get 'Failed to invoke SessionManagerLauncher' error when we use the new Avalanche API on Linux?
Environment/Versions
Avalanche
New API ( post 4.10)
SessionManager
Linux
Answer
When we require Avalanche package, sometimes we get a 'Failed to invoke SessionManagerLauncher'.
This is caused by the user not having root authorization, and as such not being able to create the session manager log folder.
Workaround is to change user to root and run the script.
If you need to use other ID run the script, you need to change Spirent log folder authorization to 777.
