Abacus:What is the difference between "Script attempts" and "Call attempts" on Statistics panel?

Answer

Script attempts: For call generating originate channels, Abacus 5000 increments the count of script attempts each time a script is started, unless the channel(or set) reports a Connect failed error.

Call attempts: For call generation originate channels, this is a count of the number of times that a channel on Abacus 5000 dials a number, as soon as dialing starts, the call attempt count is incremented.

So when Connect failed error is reported, the call attempt(originate) count is incremented, but the script attempts count will not be incremented.
