Positioning Application, SimCHAN: Why is the GLONASS reference power level -131dBm when GPS reference power level is -130dBm?
Environment/Versions
PosApp (SimGEN / SimREPLAY / SimREPLAYplus)
SimCHAN
Answer
The power reference levels for each constellation are in line with the current ICD for that system
Note that for GPS, -130dBm actually reflects the generally accepted reference level for L1 C/A code
By comparison, for GPS L2 the reference level is -136dBm, based on the level for L2 P code
All signal power level conformance is defined in Spirent product datasheets, i.e.
