Landslide: GGSN Nodal - Can be the “DNS Server IP Address” IP of external DNS server? If so, Why do I need to configure a DNS Node inside the test case?

Environment/Versions
  •  Landslide
  • GGSN Nodal
    • Perform DNS Lookup
Answer

In GPRS testing, the APN DNS Lookup checkbox allows emulated SGSNs to make a DNS query for the APN name to determine the GGSN address and forward the PDP contexts create request accordingly. So this interface only allows Landslide to differentiate Gn/Gp traffic from DNS requests.
Landslide is going to send a DNS request for every user configured in the test case. So landslide allows you When you provision multiple nodes to spread MN sessions evenly among them.
