Spirent TestCenter :How to generate Random Mac address when using RFC 2889 Tests?

Answer

After finishing the 2889 Wizard ,

  1. Click on All Stream Block
  2. Select the Stream
  3. Click on Edit --->Frame--->Edit RangeModifier.
  4. A new dialog box will open there Choose "Random" from the Type option.

Note:

  • By default the type option would be "Increment" and In details the "count" option will show you the number of count.
  • Before choosing Random ,make sure you have given the count you want then select Random.
