VR5: Why there is initialization failure after power on VR5?

If there is initialization failure during VR5 bootup process, try following operations to recover the VR5:
  • Unplug power cord from rear panel for more than 3 min, power back on.
  • If Cold start does not help, check the LED indicator of DSP module from rear panel, if it is not flashing any GREEN or RED color, contact wtih Spirent personnel for a solution, if it is flashing RED, try hard reboot indicated from previous step.
  • If neither of above two options work, please contact spirent support for the solution
