Environment/Versions Spirent TestCenter. SyncE (Synchronous Ethernet). Answer Open Spirent TestCenter Application, reserve at least one port, and create an emulated device. Enable the SyncE option under Technologies... > Carrier Ethernet. Under All Devices enable the Active checkbox for the Spirent emulated device that will run SyncE and select QL-PRC as the Quality Level. If you need STC to be the slave, set the Quality Level to QL-PNU. Important: Confirm the SyncE Option value matches in both, the DUT and STC.  In STC you can find it under: The SyncE tab under the port. The SyncE tab under All Ports.
