Spirent TestCenter: Does Spirent TestCenter support HTTP over PPPoe over LAG?
Environment/Versions
Spirent TestCenter
HTTP
PPPoE
LAG
HTTP over PPPoE over LAG
Answer
Spirent LAG Emulation
datasheet lists LAG support control plane protocols, such as ACCESS (PPPoe) and ALP (HTTP).
As per that datasheet, we should support it, since we do already support HTTP over PPPoE, the whole scenario should work over LAG.
Support tested this in-house in a back-to-back configuration with the defaults and it seems to work as expected, you can see there are 3 views:
1. PPPoX Results that show both devices (Server/Client) connected.
2. HTTP Client Results with active connections
3. LACP results showing LACP Status as UP
