Avalanche: Cyberflood: How are the cores allocated for each port from a given device?

Environment/Versions
Avalanche 5.40
Cyberflood 23.3
C100-S3 5.40
Answer
Each device has one or more portgroups. For each portgroup, the core number starts from 0.

Using a C100-S3-MP-2 as example, having profile L4L7-Functional-8x10G

1. Every portgroup (or lxc) have 6 cores
2. Each portgroup has two ports. Using the PortGroup1, we have available two ports: Port1 and Port2
3. In PortGroup1, cores 0,1,2 will be assigned two Port1 and cores 3,4,5 will be assigned to Port2
4. In second PortGroup2 (or lxc), we will still have 6 cores: cores 0,1,2 will be assigned to Port3 and cores 3,4,5 will be assigned to Port4

This rule applies for each device that Spirent have available.
