Automation for CloudStress is now supported via a REST API provided by the CloudStress Application VM. Utilizing this API, performance and capacity methodology test creation, configuration, and execution can be automated. Test reports can be retrieved in JSON format or can be saved as a PDF, DOCX, or XLSX formatted document. Using REST API, templates which represent deployed agent VMs and needed for test configuration can be discovered from infrastructure or directly by IP addresses of the agents. The API supports configuration of parameters needed to discover agents by infrastructure (currently only for OpenStack). The API also supports granular control of individual agents that is used by the Interactive feature of the application. CloudStress is a Temeva Application, and requires authentication via Temeva APIs in order to allow the application to perform actions on behalf of the user (for example, license check out/check in).
