As we all know IPv6 is the most recent internet protocol that provides an identification and location system for computers on networks and routes traffic across the Internet. With the expansion of the internet, mobile devices, and the IoT more IP addresses have been required expanding the workload for ISPs offering internet service. Therefore, support for IPv6 has become a deal breaker at Tier 1 ISPs.
In this release Spirent OCTOBOX 2.5 adds a user interface to a feature introduced in 2.4 called Delay Histograms. This feature allows for analysis of statistical properties of one way delay.
The 2.5 release aims to support: ISP, their vendors, enterprise vendors.
