iTest: How to know about the platform of the system to call the host depending upon the Operating system?

  • This article illustrates about how to call the host depending upon the operating system.
Environment/Versions
  • Spirent iTest.
Procedure
  • We could call the host depending upon the Operating system, using the commands [info hostIP] & [info platform].
  • Use the command [info platform] to know about the Operating system details. i.e., windows or linux.
  • Use the command [info hostIP] to know about the hostname of the computer that is currently running iTest.
