• PosApp (SimGEN / SimREPLAYplus / SimREPLAY) v3-00 onwards
• PC running Windows 7 32-bit or 64-bit

• Yes - PosApp can be used with Windows 7.
• Please refer to DCS0036D to ensure you have configured your PC correctly for use with PosApp
   
• You must install the correct version of software:-
  • PosApp v3-00 to v4-01 are fully verified with Windows 7 32-bit only.
  • PosApp v4-02 onwards is fully verified with Windows 7 32-bit & 64-bit
     
• USB drivers are provided with the PosApp installation
• They will correspond to the Operating System which that installed version of PosApp was verified against, .e.g.
  • PosApp v3-00 to PosApp v4-01 only include 32-bit drivers
  • PosApp v4-02 includes both 32-bit and 64-bit drivers.
• We also provide downloads for the USB driver packs independent of the software install
  • These are available from the "Downloads" area of our support website, via the "Utilities" category.

NOTES:

1. Customers attempting to use Windows 7 64-bit with a version of PosApp BEFORE v4-02 should review KNI10470
2. PosApp v2-92 only received minimal testing with Windows 7 32-bit.
       - No fundamental performance issues were noted
3. Any version of PosApp / SimGEN / SimREPLAYplus / SimREPLAY before v2-92 is not guaranteed to work with Windows 7
       - No support will be given to customers attempting to install them on a Windows 7 PC.
