Environment/Versions
Any module that support Priority Based Scheduling.
Procedure
Set the Generator to Priority Based Scheduling.
Create a streamblock.
The General tab in the Streamblock editor has all the settings to set the bursts. See snap shot below.
Set your frame size and how many frames within a burst.
Set the IFG within the burst which determines the rate of the burst. (how fast the frames within the burst will be transmitted)
Set the Inter Burst Gap which will determine how often the burst will occur.
Adding more streams with different values can create different scenarios as needed.
A steady state stream can also be created.
