Answer
  • USB drivers are installed by default with the host software that is compatible with each simulator model.
  • The latest software is available for customers with a valid support contract from the "Downloads" area of our support website.
    • Simply choose the download category that matches the simulator model.

  • USB driver packs are available independently of the host software installs and these can be accessed from the "Utilities" download category.
  • For more information about the versions of software which are compatible with Windows 7 (32-bit and 64-bit) please refer to the following articles:-

NOTES FOR VISTA

  • There is no USB driver support for Windows Vista.
    • Windows 7 had already been released before Spirent really began work on USB drivers for an OS other than Windows XP
    • Hence the automatic transition from Windows XP was to Windows 7, bypassing Windows Vista
  • Users 'may' find that Spirent's Windows 7 drivers are compatible with Windows Vista and are welcome to try them
    • On the understanding that Spirent have performed no testing of their own and can provide no technical support
