This provides information for only the noted application. This does not include changes needed for the OS. You should contact your OS Admin and Network Admin for changing the IP address on the server and in the DNS. It will a be lot less risky and lot less effort if we can keep the hostname the same and just change only the IP addresses. Lots of work needs to be done if the hostname is changed. If the hostname is to be change we will need to coordinate with DBA and UNIX admins for all the changes needed in ROOT and Informix files.
