How do I Back up a Volume Group in HPUX?
Answer
VOLUME GROUP
BACKUP (HEKVG)
Login in with root and enter root’s password.
Type lsvg to find out the volume group you want to backup.
Type smit and select the high lighted selections.
# lsvg
rootvg
hekvg
# smit
