Occasionally a particular USB memory device may not be immediately recognised.

1. Unplug the USB device and re-insert.
2. If a screen is attached to the unit you should be able to see that the unit has automatically recognised the device and an icon will be shown on the desktop.
3. If it is still not recognised then try another USB device; OR
4. Make sure that the USB device has an external power source rather than taking power direct from the GSS6400.

If this still does not work then try using another method to download/upload files e.g. SATA or FTP
