Avalanche: Where is the license file saved for the Avalanche Appliance chassis?
Answer
The license file for the Avalanche Appliance chassis is saved in the default installed directory
C:\Program Files (x86)\Spirent Communications\Spirent TestCenter 4.35\Layer 4-7 Application\license
.
The new license location for Avalanche version 4.37 and up is in C:\ProgramData\Spirent\Avalanche 4.37\user\<USERNAME>\license. The license is an XML file.
Note - a new version of Avalanche software may require a new license file. At the starting of a test a license error will prompt if the license is invalid. Please contact Spirent Support with your chassis serial number for a new license.
