TestCenter: What is reason four (4) bytes are missing from the capture of the traffic created by Generate Stream Block (PCAP or capture replay) with Spirent TestCenter?

Answer

When you Generate Stream Block from PCAP, it recognizes the FCS and does not include as part of the data

There is an option in TestCenter under Settings -> Traffic -> Generate Stream Block Setting -> to Uncheck -> Exclude Ethernet FCS (By unchecking this TestCenter will decode the Ethernet checksum as payload) and TestCenter will add FCS
