STR4500: Can I set my unit to run without a PC being connected?

Answer

  • It is not possible to set a STR4500 to run a scenario without a PC being connected. The STR4500 needs to have a PC running Simplex or SimGen so that the simulation data can be fed to the STR4500 when a scenario is running.

  • The GSS4200 is the one and only unit Spirent has developed that runs ‘onboard’ multi-channel scenarios.
