GSS6300M: How can I change the number of SV's simulated from 8 to 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 or 7?

Answer

There are two ways:

  • Load an almanac using the LOAD_ALMANAC command that has the correct number of SV's in
    • After loading the almanac check which SV's are in view and reload the same almanac after having deleted the ones you want to get the desired result.
  • Use the POW_LEV command to reduced the power of SV's so your receiver can't detect them
