TECH X FLEX NG : Why are the ethernet ports lighting up when I plug a conenction to them?

Answer
The Ethernet ports are turned off until they are needed for testing.
Example going to VOD Scoring in the 10/100/1G screen will turn on the Ethernet ports or pulling a DHCPaddress from the 10/100/1G interface will turn on the port also. As soon as you leave 10/100/1G they are powered back off to conserve battery.
