Avalanche: Can we get the statistics based on the Host/IP address?

Environment/Versions
  • Avalanche commander
  • Avalanche Analyzer
Answer
  • We can get the statistics on a host by host basis (that is, by IP address).
  • We need to enable per-host statistics on the Avalanche Commander.(run-->configure-->enable per host statistics)
  • You access the statistics files, hoststats.csv and realtimehoststats.csv by analyzing test results in the Results tab.

Note:

  • You may see a degradation in performance because of the large number of statistics being generated.
  • If you add one host to the test, this increases the memory consumption for statistic processing by approximately:7 KBytes + (4 KBytes x no. of sample time intervals)
  • If you add one host to the test, this increases the hoststats.csv file by approximately 1 KByte, and the realtimehoststats.csv file by approximately:14.6 KBytes + (0.8 KBytes x no. of sample time intervals)
  • See the Client Subnet Validation Rules and Server Subnet Validation Rules tables for the subnets/association rules with respect to disabled/enabled per-host statistics, IP ranges, and flat subnets
