  • Command Sequencer - Save Results command
    • Loop Mode = Append

When the "Save Results" command is in "Append" "Loop Mode" Spirent TestCenter will always create at least two files.  A summary database file that points to the "real" results file (or files).

For example:

• This command sequence is run and the "Save Results" command has the "Result File Name" set to "mike's_results_filename.db"
  
   
• After running the command sequence we see the following results .db files created.
  
  The summary database uses the "Result File Name" configured in the "Save Results" command.
  
   
• When the summary database is opened, it has "links" to each iteration's results file.  Those are data_timestamped as shown below.
