Spirent TestCenter: How can you tell how many cores and how much memory has been allocated to a virtual Lab Server?

  • in the beginning of bll.session.log, you will see something similar to the following two lines:
    CPU: CPU0 - Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5-2697 v3 @ 2.60GHz.
         CPU1 - Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5-2697 v3 @ 2.60GHz.
         CPU2 - Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5-2697 v3 @ 2.60GHz. <------- these are all on one line in the
         CPU3 - Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5-2697 v3 @ 2.60GHz.          log, separated here for readabiliy
    Physical Memory: 16085 MB
  • This shows:
    • 4 cores
    • 16 GB RAM
