Answer
Only socket driver mode was supported on versions prior to 5.14
DPDK is supported from version: 5.14.9956.
For optimal network performance, the following instance types are suggested:
Standard_DS3_v2 for 1G Network Bandwidth
Standard_D5_v2 for 10G Network Bandwidth
Standard_D15_v2 or Standard_F64s_v2 for 25G Network Bandwidth
