Environment/Versions Spirent TestCenter. ALP. iPerf. Answer Open the Spirent TestCenter Application, connect to the chassis, and reserve the ports. Select iPerf under Technologies > Application Layer Protocols. Create 2 different emulated devices and configure them to match your testbed. Go to the iPerf tab and one of the devices as the iPerf client and the other as the iPerf server. You can either use the default profiles or create some of your own; please follow the steps below to create iPerf profiles. Click the iPerf Profiles... button. Hit the Add button at the iPerf Client Profiles and set the client profile configuration. Hit the Add button at the iPerf Server Profiles and set the server profile configuration. NOTE: You can edit any personalized profile, but not the default one. After creating the profiles, select the profile each client and server will run by clicking the right side of the Client Profiles and Server Profiles cells. To start iPerf traffic, hit the Start iPerf Protocol button. To enable the iPerf result view, go to Change Result View > System Views > Application Layer Protocols > iPerf and select the result view you prefer.
